After several years of planning, design and construction work, dpa’s new working worlds in Berlin and Hamburg are ready. The newsroom in Berlin’s Rudi-Dutschke-Straße has been available to the teams since mid-2023. This is the agency’s editorial beating heart. Another important step towards “digital first” has thus been achieved.
Studios for producing videos and podcasts, a shared desk principle, meeting and quiet options, a workshop room and a coffee bar offer everything that characterises working in a modern news agency. The focal point of the newsroom, however, is the atrium, which serves as an event space and meeting place for creativity and encounters in equal measure.
